About us

The Traveller Group commenced operations in 2005 with The Traveller DMC, a Destination Management Company providing a full suite of ground operations with a focus on Leisure and MICE inbound travel into Singapore. With the strong background of its founders, The Traveller DMC quickly grew and saw it open its Malaysia office shortly thereafter.

Through the 2020-2021 season, The Traveller Group saw itself reimagining tourism and launched a B2C platform – Origin Journeys. Origin Journeys was envisioned as a complementary vertical to its traditional B2B model. The Traveller Group could now develop and control the quality of its own private tours and create highly tailor-made solutions for its demanding clientele.

2022 saw The Traveller partner with AnderesFourdy, a market-leading Professional Congress Organiser in the region to bring its services to Singapore.

Today the company employs a sizable number of staff across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and India and has a fleet of mini-buses, coaches, a team of tour guides and an exceptionally strong supplier network which gives them strong bargaining power.

The strong, ongoing support of clients continues to be testament of The Traveller’s ability to deliver and to stay relevant in creating tailor-made travel experiences for customers worldwide. The Company’s philosophy of “one size does not fit all” is something that its founders stand by firmly; it believes in revealing each destination with an authenticity beyond the reach of any other travel company. They have provided FIT and tailormade GIT and MICE travel services for thousands of passengers. Some of their clients include global banks, pharmaceutical companies and leading multi-national companies from the USA, UK, Europe, Middle East, India China, Australia, Philippines and other ASEAN countries.

The Traveller works closely in collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board to maintain momentum through their ongoing campaigns and its contribution to the travel industry has been recognised through the attainment of numerous Awards, including the prestigious Best Inbound Travel Award by Singapore Tatler for over a decade. They have also attained their Masters in MICE Accreditation from the travel intermediaries and are a member of the Singapore Association of Convention Exhibition (SACEO).

Company Directors

Low Eng Loo

Managing Director

Eng Loo is a seasoned veteran in finance and corporate development with over 20+ years of financial expertise under his belt. He's been the head of the loan, credit control, investment, and treasury departments at a large publicly listed financial institution. Since making his foray into the Travel industry almost two decades ago, Eng Loo has steered The Traveller and its subsidiaries through high seas onto greener lands and continues to strategize the group’s next moves. Eng Loo graduated with a Master of Science in System Analysis and Design and an MBA from a prestigious institution in England.

Yvonne Low

Executive Director

Yvonne is a visionary leader with a heart for excellence. She leads the charge in Strategic Planning, Sales & Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, and Organization Learning & Development. With 40 years of experience in the travel industry, she's a seasoned pro who's held top-level management positions in multiple countries. Her expertise in outbound travel, corporate ticketing, inbound travel, and BTMICE make her a valuable asset to any team. Yvonne's Master of Management degree is just the cherry on top of a remarkable career built on hard work and dedication. She's a true inspiration to those around her, always pushing the boundaries of what's possible and setting a standard for excellence.

Grace Chong

Director / General Manager

As Director and General Manager of The Traveller DMC, Grace expertly handles Market and Business Development, Services Marketing Management, Procurement, and Operations with ease. With a diverse career that spans teaching, retail operations management, and inbound travel management, Grace brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. She's spent over 30 years in a senior management role, overseeing all aspects of Inbound Travel services, making her a trusted and respected leader in the industry. Grace's combination of experience and leadership makes her a true inspiration to those around her, and her unwavering commitment to excellence ensures that her team is always pushing forward towards success.

Jessica Koh

Director

From brand consultancy in an international advertising agency, into the travel industry. Spurred by a deep passion for curating unique and memorable travel experiences for travellers in her beloved country Malaysia. Jessica Koh dabbled into her first business partnership by starting the 2nd office of The Traveller DMC in Malaysia. As a destination management company ( DMC ) in Kuala Lumpur, The Traveller Malaysia aspires to be a built-to-bless company to the nation, to the team and to our business partners and to our clients.

Ryan Low

Director, Business Development

Ryan’s journey from lawyer to the heart of travel storytelling marks a new chapter in The Traveller’s narrative. As our newest Director, Ryan's expertise, honed through senior roles at notable hospitality behemoths, underpins his meticulous approach to crafting experiences. Ryan's ambition is to transcend norms, infusing each journey with a story worth telling.
